01 · Casework
Every case answered, and provably so
Cases arrive from email, web forms, walk-ins, the kiosk, and meetings, and land in one queue with a category, an assignee, and an SLA clock. Notes, calls, and external email live on the case, so the whole thread survives staff turnover.
Inbox triage turns raw constituent email into cases with one click. Promote it with a category and assignee, or reject it with a reason that's kept on the record.
02 · Constituents
One person, one record, every channel
A directory of everyone the office has heard from, with cases, meetings, office visits, and portal accounts merged into one record with a full activity timeline. Search by name, email, or phone; filter to open cases only.
Voter-file matching is explicit and permissioned. Records show a match check, never raw campaign data, unless a role allows it.
03 · Legislative
Where you stand, written down
Track bills through committee, record roll-call votes, and attach a position and rationale to each, written assuming it will be quoted. Committees and hearings live alongside, with witnesses and staff notes.
Flip a position public and it appears on Where-I-Stand, a public page of positions and votes, grouped by subject, that answers "where does she stand?" before the call comes in.
04 · Communications
You choose the audience, and every send is counted
Newsletters go to the office's opt-in subscribers or to the voter file for its jurisdiction, and you choose which on every send, with saved segments and a recipient preview. Every send records its outcome for each recipient, and subscriber opt-outs are left out automatically.
Press releases carry an embargo timestamp: internal until it passes, on the public press feed after. There's no texting and no fundraising here. Numa is built for the office.
05 · Kennedy, the office AI
A copilot that knows the caseload
Ask questions of the office's live record in plain English: cases, constituents, positions, and events. On request, he suggests categories for incoming mail, drafts replies in the office's voice, and summarizes long case threads.
He drafts and never sends. Press releases, blog posts, and newsletters he drafts wait in Comms for a staff member to finish and send, and AI requests are logged.
06 · District intelligence
Know the district by its casework
Heatmaps of casework volume by ZIP or category show where the district is hurting before the town hall does. Demographics snapshots break the district down by ZIP, with counts and percentages.
Annual reports generate as PDFs with cases handled, response times, and events held, ready for the newsletter and the record.
07 · Operations & admin
The office, run like a record
A public calendar with iCal subscribe links, a meeting-request pipeline from new to completed, a visitor kiosk with sign-in and sign-out, staff time with approvals, and an invitations tracker for endorsements and events.
Admin holds the roles, with granular permissions per staffer, the portal controls, and an audit log of sensitive actions you can filter by person, category, and date.
And the rest
Also inside
Analytics
The office, measured: cases opened against cases resolved, SLA performance and response times, the category and intake-channel mix, and engagement tiles for newsletters, events, visitors, and the portal.
The constituent portal
Sign-in by email, case status and messaging, new-case filing, and self-managed profiles, with account controls and session revocation in Admin.
Visitor kiosk
A sign-in screen for the front desk that takes a name and purpose, links the voter file when it matches, and feeds the same constituent record as everything else.
Staff time
Hours and PTO logged per staffer with an approval step and a 30-day rollup: the small bookkeeping that otherwise lives in a drawer.
Invitations
Endorsement requests and event invites tracked from received to attended, so nothing gets accepted twice or forgotten once.
Public surfaces
Where-I-Stand, the vote log, the events feed with iCal, and the press page. Each one is opt-in, per office, and published only when you say so.
Roles & audit
Custom roles from granular permissions, so interns see the queue and not the campaign history, and an audit log of sensitive actions.
