These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of northjerseyresearch.com (the "Site"), operated by North Jersey Research ("NJR," "we," "us," or "our"), a political consulting firm based in New Jersey. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Use of the Site

You may use the Site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Interfere with or disrupt the Site, its servers, or its security;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems, accounts, or data;
• Use automated means to scrape, harvest, or copy content or data from the Site, except as permitted by our robots.txt;
• Use the Site to transmit anything unlawful, misleading, defamatory, or harmful, or to misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization.

Content and intellectual property

The Site and everything on it — including text, graphics, logos, illustrations, and design — are owned by NJR or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view the Site for personal and informational purposes. The "North Jersey Research" and "Romulus" names and marks may not be used without our prior written permission.

Informational purposes only

Content on the Site is provided for general information about our firm and services. It does not constitute legal, financial, or compliance advice, and campaign finance and election laws vary by jurisdiction and change over time. Visiting the Site or contacting us does not create a consultant–client relationship; an engagement with NJR begins only when both parties sign a written agreement.

Romulus

Romulus, our campaign management platform, is offered separately at votebase.northjerseyresearch.com. Access to and use of Romulus are governed by the agreements and terms presented within that platform. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to access or use Romulus.

Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites and services for your convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Linking does not imply endorsement.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that its content is complete, accurate, or current.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NJR and its principals, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill — arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NJR and its principals, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or your use of the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time by posting the updated version on this page and updating the "Last updated" date above. Changes take effect when posted, and your continued use of the Site after that means you accept the revised Terms.

General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and NJR regarding your use of the Site.
